We offer events, regular performances, and tours
where you can enjoy and experience the culture of Yamaga.
Explore the historic Soumon District, a rice hub that prospered
along the Buzen Road during the Edo period.
This guided walking tour, led by long established shop owners
connected to Yamaga’s rice culture, offers a chance to dive into
local history and enjoy hands on experiences centered around rice.
The route runs for about 200 meters
and takes approximately one hour to complete,
including visits and activities, from the sake
brewery, miso maker, and rice storehouse
to Kousenji Temple.
